Preschool

Porter and Ryker started preschool this week. It's crazy having 2 kids in preschool. They aren't in the same class so it's either take one of them every morning or run back and forth taking them on the same day. We decided to do it on the same day. So Ryker goes Tuesday and Thursday morning and Porter goes Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon. Their first day we also had dentist appointments. While Ryker was at school Mike and Porter went to the dentist and while Porter was at school Ryker and me went to the dentist. Poor Kyler was so lost that day without his brothers. He just kept asking where they were. The next time they had school he wasn't quite so lost because one of them was home with him. I love how much they all love playing together. It's going to be a crazy and expensive year running them to and from preschool but they love it!

Summer Fun!!

This summer was so much fun! I was on maternity leave and was able to be home all summer. I'm so glad I was too because it seems like so many little things happened that would have been sad to miss. Porter learned to tie his shoes, Ryker learned to ride a bike without training wheels, Kyler got potty trained and Bridger just grew like a weed. We made it up to the cabin a couple times, out camping a couple times, rode 4 wheelers, played in the sprinklers, swimming pool and jumped on the trampoline lots. We rode our bikes practically everyday and Dad even made a jump. The boys caught lots of bugs and toads too. Had to show them all to mom. They thought I would love them! Now summer is ending. Porter and Ryker start preschool next week and I have to go back to work the end of this month. I will miss my boys and can't wait till I can be home with them all the time!

Toad!!!

One day the boys came inside and wanted their shirts off. I said, why, what are you doing? They said, we want to box! It is so funny how they think when they box they have to have their shirts off. That's what they do in the movies! Kyler doesn't have any boxing gloves so we had to put socks on his hands. He was happy with that. I just had to get some pictures of them cause it was too cute.

Alright, I knocked both my older brothers out!!

When we went camping, my brother had a little 4 wheeler that the boys had a ball riding. We went up to the cabin and my sister in laws family had one too. I only got a couple pictures of the boys on it though. We're thinking that we need to get the boys one!

Kyler's 2nd Birthday!

I can't believe this little man is only 2. He seems so much older than that to me. He thinks he's just as big and old as his older brothers too.

We had a fun birthday with Kyler this year. The Saturday before his birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Custer took him to Build a Bear. They said that he wasn't into it at all. He did end up picking out a dog but his most favorite thing was the stroller. He wanted that to push his dog around in. He loves that dog. He was so excited to get it home and show his brothers. He slept with it and had to show it how he went potty and everything. It's really cute!

The Sunday before his birthday he got to share his celebration with me, with the Custers. He got spoiled as always!

Then on his actual birthday he got to go to lunch with mom and her friends at Red Robin, then played with his brothers all day. They gave him a backpack just like theirs. We made a cake that Porter and Ryker picked out for him and had some before we went to bed.

Mom and Dad got him a big bed for his birthday. We needed to get him in a bed so we can get Bridger in the crib. He loves his big bed too. He has to tell everyone that it's HIS bed!

Then the Sunday after his birthday we celebrated his birthday with the Olsons. Got more spoiled!

When we were at Red Robin the nicest thing happened. Kyler got a balloon and everything while we were there since it was his birthday. There was a couple sitting by us and when they got up to leave the guy walks over to us and asks Kyler if it's his birthday. He said, yep! The guy hands him a dollar bill and tells him happy birthday and to go get himself something for his birthday. Kyler tells him thanks and thought that dollar bill was the best thing ever. He had to carry it around with him and wouldn't let me take it. We went and picked out a car that he got with it. He loves that car too! Such a nice couple! Sure made Kyler's day!

Bridger's Blessing

We blessed Bridger on August 7th. Mike did an awesome job like always! He's such a great dad! After the blessing we had a luncheon in my sister in law, Alicia's backyard. She has a way nice big backyard. It was a great place for everyone. Things were good until we put all the food out on the table and then the flies all came. There were so many, it was crazy! Mike and I didn't think of flies when we decided to have the luncheon outside. We all ate and just had to keep the food covered. It worked out. The worst thing is, I didn't get any pictures of anything. Mike and I were so busy trying to get the food all ready and then we ate and everyone was gone and I didn't get any pictures. My sister in law, Andrea did make a way cute cake that she sent me some pictures of. All and all it was a great day even though we didn't get any pictures!

Fun at the cabin!

Mike and I have been wanting to go up the cabin all summer. Seems like with Mike's work and school, there was always something and we never made it up. We finally were able to go up last week. We never go up during the week cause we're usually working but we were able to go up during the week this time. I love being on maternity leave! It was so nice up there during the week. So quiet and not hardly anyone up there. We had so much fun too! We really didn't want to come home. Definitely will need to plan another trip up there before I go off of maternity leave.

We took up Porter's BB gun and the boys' bows. They were out shooting those the whole time we were up there. We saw some deer and Porter was determined to shoot one. It was really funny! He kept telling Dad that it needed to be deer season so he could shoot a deer.

We took up the 4 wheelers too and went on some rides. It was cooler than I was expecting and you really had to bundle up for rides. We had to put on all the jackets up at the cabin. So poor Kyler had to wear a pink jacket. Atleast he was warm!


We also had a fire and made some smores. They were delicious! Mike and I heard of a new way to make smores, with a Reese's peanut butter cup. Very good! Best way to make smores for sure!



We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go up again! Such a nice, relaxing, much needed little vacation!
