Stinkin' Cute Kids

So, I have been trying to get my kids pictures done forever. I wanted to get Ryker's 2 years and Kyler's 6 months. With my sis in law and me both working it was hard to find a time. Plus, the weather didn't really want to cooperate whenever we actually had it planned. I finally got them done a couple weeks ago. I have a bunch of pictures but here's a couple of each of my boys. They are just so cute and I can't believe how big they are getting. I keep telling Mike it's time to have another one!!! Haha!!!

Porter - 3 1/2 years

Ryker - 2 years

Kyler - 8 months

We tried to get some with all 3 of them but we did it at the end and they didn't want anything to do with it. So, we'll have to try that again next time. Atleast I finally got them done!!

Yep......a lamb!!!

So, the other day Mike gets a phone call. When he gets off the phone he says, "what do you think about getting the boys a lamb?" I said, "A WHAT?" Yep, he said lamb! His uncle that lives by us just had a lamb. The mom died and he thinks our boys are just so cute and that they would love a lamb. So, he was wondering if we wanted it. Mike said, ok. What are we going to do with? I have no idea! The boys do really like it. It follows them everywhere. Yesterday I looked out the window and they were riding their bikes up and down the road, and there was the lamb running right behind them. It is really cute!

Here's the lamb. We're thinking of naming him Chops!

Oh yeah, and since the mom died, we have to bottle feed it. It's like having a baby all over again!

Easter

My boys had so much fun on Easter. I kept telling them that the Easter Bunny was going to come but they didn't seem to understand the whole thing. They were sure excited in the morning when they saw what the Easter Bunny left them. They got so much stuff but I only got a few pictures of them with some of it. We colored eggs but I don't know what I was thinking not taking any pictures. Here are some pictures of the day though.

Moab

My sister in law ran a half marathon down in Moab a few weeks ago. It happened to be when Mike was on Spring Break so we decided to go down with them. We just bought my brother's old trailer so it was a great time to try it out. It was so much fun!!! We watched Raylene finish her race. Then we went on a hike. The next day we went into Arches and did some hikes in there. On the drive home, my brother ended up blowing 2 tires, at different times, on his trailer. That wasn't so much fun but atleast the rest of the weekend was fun!

Jared changing blown tire #2. You can't tell but he's not very happy in this picture!

Ryker's Birthday

Ryker turned 2 on March 11th. His birthday seemed to last a week. He had a party with the Olson's the Sunday before his birthday. Then we had a little party on his birthday. Then we took him to Pirate's Island for dinner the next night. Then he had a party with the Custer's the Sunday after his birthday. He loved all the attention. The best birthday present was the one he gave to mom and dad, getting potty trained!!! Here are just a few pictures from his birthday. Mike told me I posted way too many of Porter's birthday!

What a cute kid! Look at that face!

Here's a picture from Pirate's Island. My little pirate!!

Christmas 2009

Ok, I am so late on getting these posted. I almost didn't post them since it's way past but then decided to just play catch up. Christmas was a lot of fun. The boys loved it. They got spoiled, like always. Here are a few pictures of them.

Porter

Ryker
Don't you love how he has to be just like his big brother?

Kyler

Mike made them some bunk beds. They turned out so good. Porter and Ryker absolutely love climbing on them too.

Here they are with their turtles that Santa brought them. They had been telling me for a month that Santa was going to bring them turtles. Boy was that fun for Mike and me to hide them from the boys for 2 weeks. Porter just looked at me when he saw them and said, I told you Santa was going to bring me a turtle!

Porter's 3rd Birthday!!

Well, I'm a little late at getting this posted. I've been meaning to get it on here for about a week now. Porter's birthday was last Monday, the 7th. He is finally 3! No longer do I have 3 kids under the age of three! He loved his birthday. He had 3 different parties and got spoiled at every one. Mom and Dad got him a bike for his birthday but when we woke up, it looked like this outside.....
So much for riding a bike outside! We went up to Grandpa Olson's shop and Porter got to ride his bike there. It took him a little while to figure out how to pedal but once he got that down, he was having so much fun riding that little bike.

Here's a picture of the whole family. In the background, you can see the bunk beds that Mike has been building the boys for Christmas.

Porter then got to pick where to go eat dinner. He wanted to go to McDonald's and play. So, he got a Happy Meal and then played. Dad was having fun playing with the boys too!

And then, of course since it was his birthday we had to get hot fudge sundaes!!!

Party #2 Porter got a helicopter from Grandma and Grandpa Olson. He loved that thing. Didn't put it down for days.

Party #3 was with the Custer's. Porter got to celebrate his birthday with his cousin Adam. He turned 1. Here are some pictures of some of the things he got.

Here is a picture of the cake. Mom got creative and made a lego cake.
